    apply rule to multiple cells

hi.. this is a basic question..

here is one of my formulas

    =B2-(B2*0.1)

the cell underneath this i want..

    =B3-(B3*0.1)

    underneath that i want..

    =B4-(B4*0.1)

rather then my typing in each one individually.. how can i select mutiple rows and apply the same formula to each using its own row number..

You can copy the first formula, select the remaining range and paste.

You can click and hold the little black box in the bottom right corner of a selected cell and drag it down.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Type in the first formula where you want it.
Select that cell by clicking on it.
Press shift and arrow down as far as you want it to go.
Select the Menu Edit > Fill > Fill Down.....
    Thats it!

You can also fill up/across/left/right you just need to have those cells selected.

Tom, I think you mean 'Press SHIFT and arrow down..', not 'space'?
