In Excel 2003, the Office Assistants are not installed by default, but your PC administrator may have installed these assistants and not turned them on by default. Check your Help menu to see if you can 'Show the Office Assistant'. You can then customize the Assistant to other animations. (Right-click assistant and click 'Choose Assistant')

If you don't see the 'Show the Office Assistant' in the Help menu, you may have to install them from the Office 2003 CD. Hopefully your admin kept the install files locally on your PC, though, in which case you can do the following:

    Open your Control Panel
    Click Add/Remove Programs
    Click Microsoft Office 2003
    Click Change
    Select 'Add or Remove Features'
Check 'Choose Advanced Customization of Applications'
    Click Next
    Expand 'Office Shared Features'
    Click on 'Office Assistant'
    Click 'Run from my computer'
    Click Update

That should install your Office Assistants (available in all Office apps, not just Excel).

    Good morning Chris Lemonakis

The little Einstein dude isn't (if I remember correctly) installed on Excel 2003. However, using a bit of trickery you can get him on there, once some of the others are installed. If you want to know how to do this post back. I have posted instructions to do this on one of the forums somewhere, but I just can't find it...
