I am teaching myself various things about excel as a result of being introduced to it by the wife.
My hobby is falconry and I want to create an excel sheet that will record everything I need regarding breeding birds. The sheet will house numerous bits of information re each bird.
What I want to be able to do is the following:
Every time I create a new document I want each document to have a unique number sequence that will be shown at the top of the sheet. Say I create a sheet on monday and another on tuesday. I want the sheet on monday to be tagged as 000001 and the tuesday one to be tagged 000002.
Does anyone have any answers as to wether or not this is possible?
