Conditional Formatting - Highlight Rows if a cell contains text

I'd like to highlight the rows that have any text in Column C. (For example, in the range of A1:J10, Cell C1, C5 contain text and other cells in Column C are blank. I'd like to highlight Row 1 and Row 5).

Could anyone tell me how I can do it? Thank you!

Select A1:J10 with A1 active cell and use conditional formatting "formula is" option with the formula

    =$C1<>""

    select required formatting > OK
