    SUMPRODUCT Formula

    Hi,

I have set up the following formula to count how many times the word "No" is on the spreadsheet in relation to a specific application (indicated by A38:

    =SUMPRODUCT(('November Consolidation'!$B$9:$B$487=A38)*(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("No",'November Consolidation'!$F$9:$F$487))))

My problem arises when the formual counts the "No" in the word "Not" which is used numerous times within the spreadsheet or the colum that the formual is searching in.

How do I ensure that the formual only counts the word "No"?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would say try putting a space after no, i.e. "No "
