Hide a column from the printer !

is there a way i can Hide a column from the printer, I want to keep the column on the screen, but do not want the printer to print it. I want it to act like its not there. I know i can turn text white so the printer does not see it, but is there a way of doing this

    thanks

Can you make use of this tip, but apply it to columns?

You can do it with a print macro or just a simple key board action before you print or if you want it always hidden
select the column and press the keys
    Ctrl 0
    this will hide the column
    Ctrl shift 0
    will unhide the columns

you can use custom views from the view menu. . create one called normal, then hide columns and create on called hidden or similar.save.
then you can set print area on hidden and it only prints what you can see. then you can switch back to normal.you can create loads of views. so you could have say "hidden cols a and o" and another 'hidden cols b and d"
