Excel not updating formula

Hi all,
Stranegly Excel has stopped auto updating formula. I am forcing to do so by Ctl+Alt+F9. Can anybody tell how can I correct the problem?

Go to Tools|Options and in the Calculation tab, select Automatic in the top section
