Conditional Formatting more than one year old

I've searched the forum and tried a few of the formulas for formatting different ages, but I can't get it to work for more than a year.

    I want to

Highlight in red any date more than 1 year old

Highlight in yellow any date 11 months old

I know this must be very simple, but my with limited knowledge, I can't get it to work. I know how to set the different colors etc, but not the formula.

Thanks in advance for any help
