Subtracting dates

I would like to know how to subtract the date by 2 days from cell A1 and display the result in cell B1. Also would like the day of the week to display in front of the date.


A1: 03/08/08

B1: WEDNESDAY, 03/06/08

=UPPER(TEXT(A1-2,"dddd, dd/mm/yy"))
