How can I move the row numbers down 1 number

I am trying to move the row numbers down one spot so I can use the space now used for row 1 to name each column.

If you mean the actual row number headings to the left of the worksheet, you cannot. If you have a numbered list, then go to row 1, then from the menu, select Insert > Cells > Entire Row.
