If you really want to use that formula then here it is fixed!
    =IF(T23="#Value!","",S23)
Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find

    G'Day,

    Since no one has replied

My guess is the at the ! symbol is upsetting the formula.

I try this in excel not as a html and it play up too.

Maybe the formula is looking for a sheet reference with the ! symbol in the formula

Edit: Kids distracted me from a quicker response

Ratcat, i understand your thinking but the ! in the formula is formed as part of a string and as such excel sees it as a character rather than sheet notation, the problem with the original formula was because of a typo, Leighmills33 used (; )in his formula to separate the functions of the formula rather than (,) if you try the amended formula you should find it doesn't show #Value.

Knowing a little bit of html on notepad but not excel I though (; ) was the case and not (,) when scripting.

Plus the kids are really on the ball tonight and I revised my test and its all my bad. The formula does work

    Thanks for the feedback

    Cheers
