Data from 2 drop down lists determine search variables --- Noob Question.

    Hi all,

As the title says, I have 2 drop down lists and two tables on different sheets --- what I want to happen is to have the first drop down list determine the table from which the second drop down list gets its data.

    Attached is a simplified example.

    I'm using Excel 2007.

    Thanks!

I've not got XL2007. Does it allow you to save in .xls format, and if so and there are no other responses, attach it again and I'll take a look.

    hi richard.

it can be saved in .xls format, but it reduces some of the formats i used in the workbook.

    thank you though!
