Hyperlinks

Hi,

I am setting up a database and I want to make several hyperlinks on it at one time- linking each individual hyperlinks to separate web pages- question do I have do it indivually in each cell or can I do formate the column when I paste the website in for all of them

Hello Bella18,

Excel will place only a single hyperlink into a selection of cells, whichever is the active cell. However, it would be possible to create a macro to insert multiple hyperlink addresses into a selection of cells.

Leith,
I have an Excel document with two columns of absolute URLs already fully written out in each column. I'd like to make the URLs active, but not one at a time, since I have about 2,000 of them (it's a parts list and the columns link to a jpg or a pdf).

I expect to Save As .htm afterward, so the links need to stay active after saving. Do you have a macro for this? I've never done macros before so I hope it won't be hard to do!
