How can I autofill (copy & paste) formulae down rows in a spreadsheet?

    Greetings

I am currently trying to do a spreadsheet on a question I have for homework and am having some problems. I have put the formula's in to work out the sum with interest and payments which has worked, but I can't work out how to drag it down so it auto fills.

I need to drag everything down until the "final sum" column reaches zero. At the moment I have been typing the first number in for each line and letting it automatically fill out the rest of the line.

Can anyone see where I have gone wrong? What can I do to make it drag down for the whole speadsheet?

    Many thanks for your help
    Trevor

    Hi Trevor,

Please amend your title so it is more descriptive of your specific Excel problem eg "how can I autofill (copy & paste) formulae down rows in a spreadsheet?".
Descriptive titles are a requirement of the Forum Rules & you may find that with an amended title you get a useful/descriptive answer within minutes... ;-)

Thanks for the feedback - pleased you figured it out.

My suggestion was going to be along the lines of...
select cell B18, press [ctrl + shift + right arrow], [ctrl + c], [ctrl + shift + end], [ctrl + v], and then copying it down further until the amount decreased to zero.
