Combining data from multiple files

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Excel and I'm convinced my question will seem rather trivial to many of you.

In any case, I'm conducting my dissertation research and the apparatus I'm using produces massive data files from which I need about four cells. Each participant completes 20 conditions and I therefore have 20 of these massive files per participant. I'm looking for a straightforward way to condense the files so as to summarize each participants' data (From the 20 conditions) in one data file rather than simply copy and pasting the four cells from each of the 20 condition files (this wouldn't be so bad but I have over 100 subjects in the study).

If anyone has a solution that would be great. Otherwise, if anyone knows of are any resources that adress these types of issues I would be greatly appreciative.
