Week Days only

How can i add weekdays only Mon-Fri. on a monthly charts in this format

Let's say your date is in A1, then in cell A2 put the formula

=WORKDAY(A1,1)

Fill that formula down as many rows as you need, and it will only include weekdays. To get the format "Mon 11-10-08", select those cells and right-click any of them and choose Format Cells...

Select Custom, then beneath 'Type', enter: mmm mm-dd-yy (or mmm dd-mm-yy if you use non-U.S. format dates).

To use the WORKDAY formula, the Analysis Toolpak add-in must be loaded (Tools -> Add-ins -> Check the box next to Analysis Toolpak).
