    I would like to enter a time in Minutes in cells B2 and D2 for two different Continuous Casting machines I work on. The Time in minutes represents the total time it takes to empty a ladle of steel. I need to pace the two machines so as there is a gap of 35 minutes between ladle openings to facilitate having both machines running at the same time. This is a easy thing to do but when things go wrong and one machine is running slower than it should I need to be able the enter a time in 24 Hour time in Cell B5 and have it add the time that has been entered in minutes in Cell B2 displaying the new time in in B7 then the next new time in B9 and so on. I need to do the same with the information in D column. From this I need to work the difference between times so as I can track the differences.

    Hi,

    Does this work for you?

    B5=(B2+35)/1440

    D4=(D2+35)/1440

    both formatted as hh:mm

    Alas no I need to enter a time in B5 say 12:30 and a variable in Minutes say 70 minutes in B2 and have it calculate the next time for (B7) 13:40 (B9) 14:50 and so on.

    How about this in B7

    =B5+($B$2/1440)

    In B9

    =B7+($B$2/1440)

    and so on.... format cells [hh]:mm
