Columns with dots In Between

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I would like to take two columns and put a succession of dots in the middle. Example
Column A:
Dan
Jeff
Mary
Jennifer
Column B:
555-2121
555-3164
555-4679
555-2364
Result:
Dan.........555-2121
Jeff..........555-3164
Mary........555-4679
Jennifer....555-2364

Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

That's a very bad way to use Excel. Suggest you put the data in separate columns.

Unlike Word, Excel has no notion of tabs.

Agreed - then format the cells with the Borders & Shading if you're trying to make it easier to track within a row from the name to the phone #

Thanks everyone, your suggestions worked well!
One thing to note, if someone else wants to do this is to use a fixed width font to get them to all have the same width.
