    If formula

    Dear sir,with regards,asking you kindly to help me by a solution for a question mentioned in attached file ( i think by if formula but i donot know how ).

    Toffimoon4, please ask the question in the thread, don't expect people to download an attached file just to see the question.

    Ask the question, tell us what you want to achieve AND attach the file so folk can see what you are using!

    Ok sir, in my workbook i have 3 columns(B for codes,C for prices as at 31/12/2008,D for new prices from 1/1/2009) what i asking about is : which formula can be used in (C5) (and the rows below) to change the prices to be as mentioned in (D5) , imean ( if any new prices apear in column d5 should be change c5 automatically ).

    You can't use a formula in C5 as you already want to have prices in column C, unless you are going to edit the formula in C everytime manually, if so then you can use this in C
    =IF(D5>12.35,D5,12.35) where 12.35 would be the price in D you can also use it for price change up or down like this =IF(D5<>12.35,D5,12.35)
