to create an add-in and invoke it

hi,

I am new to excel and I am trying to create an add-in.

This add-in will create a new workbook and copy a sheet from another existing workbook sheet (this is like a template).

I created a addin (added a module and saved as xla )inside the existing workbook.

Now I wanna know how can call this add-in and also where .I know it can be called as module.functionname (ideally), but where should i call this??

I am not sure whether the add-in has to be installed else where and then called??

After you save and close the add-in, do Tools > Add-ins, and browse to where it lives.

The just enter formulas using the functions it supports, or do Alt+F8 to run its macros.
