hide and unhide columns with a button

I have created a program to manage our cars at work.

I managed to setup some macro's to change the colour of the squares etc to show the status of the booking.

Originally I had a bold black line around the bookings to make them stand out more but couldnt get the remove booking to remove the line and restore to normal grids without coming up with an error so gave up.

The other problem i have is that i need to make a button to hide the coloum with the dates that have gone by.
I also need one to un-hide to enable me to look at the history.

Thanks very much and sorry if my descriptions are pretty rubbish. Im very new to all this.

I cannot upload from work so was wondering if i could email someone the program and could they possibly load it up for me?

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.
