How to limit the cells in excel

Hi i am using excel 2003.

i attached a document to this post.

open it and you can see a black shaded region at extreme bottom and alos at extreme right side.

we cannot see cells, we cannot add information in that area.

how can we block certain area in an excel sheet?

if you dont think me stupid, i really dont know how to do that.

can any body explain the way to do it?

The columns to the right of N have all been hidden... and rows between row 14 and the close to last row 65534 have been hidden... that is why you can't select in those areas...

To unhide and be able to see all..click on the grey square intersecting the column and row headers at the top left corner of the spreadsheet so that the entire sheet is highlighted, then go to Insert|Column|Unhide and repeat for Insert|Row|Unhide..

Now the full sheet is visibile and accessible.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
