Inserting row in master worksheet changing cell references in other worksheets

I want to have a master worksheet with lists that I can add more data to. Then have other sheets in the workbook use this data in different ways.

If I insert a row at row 9 on the Master sheet, then in cell A9 on my other worksheet it changes from " =Master!B$9" to "=Master!B$10".

I want it to show the new information that I entered in row 9.

How can I fix this? Thanks

But if you are adding row 9 then you only have 8 rows of data (unless you're adding a new row in the middle of a block of data).
If the second worksheet is pointing to row 9 at the beginning it is pointing outside that valid range of data.

Sounds like the second worksheet should be pointing at row 8 BEFORE you add the 9th row on the master so each time you add a new row the second worksheet points to the last row on the master worksheet

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Yes, I am inserting the data in the middle of other data. How do I get the other worksheets to enter the new data as well

The other worksheets are set up like this
    =Master!B$8
    =Master!B$9
    =Master!B$10

When I insert a line in the master sheet they change to
    =Master!B$8
    =Master!B$10
    =Master!B$11

    How can I stop this?
