How to find similar data in rows

I have to compare the manufacturer name and have a unique name for a manu.(eg JENSEN TOOLS INC, JENSEN TOOLS, JENSEN are all the same name for the manu but have been put in the system differently and can be just named JENSEN TOOLS). What is the best way I can acheive this.
