Formulas to calculate over multiple sheets

Hello, I am new here and had a question. Sorry if it's a stupid one.

I have a set of 5 tables across 3 sheets (I like to be able to see them all without having to scroll so I spread them across sheets) and I was wondering if there is a formula to use so you can pull numbers from multiple sheets so that I can create a "Total" table to add up the numbers from these 3 sheets.

Hi,

1. click the cell where you want the total to appear
2. type a = sign
3. click on the first cell that you want to include in the total
4. type a + sign
5. click on the next cell that you want to include in the total
6. repeat steps 4 and 5 for all the cells you want to incluce in the total
7. hit enter

If the cells you want to include in the total are on another sheet, just click on the other sheet and select the cell, then continue as described above.

There are other ways to calculate totals, but without seeing a sampla of your data, it is hard to tell which you could use.
