Looking for some IF help

I'm trying to get a formula to calculate the following information, however I'm stuck. If anyone has any clues or hints please let me know. thanks

CLIN Invoice Date Invoice# Invoice amount
0001AA 5-1-09 1001 $10000
0001AD 5-1-09 1002 $10000
0001AC 5-2-09 1003 $10000
0001AB 5-3-09 1004 $10000

I'm trying to automatic subtract from the following areas

0001AA 0001AB 00001AC 0001AD
$10000000 $10000000 $10000000 $10000000

Now these values are just examples but I'm trying to make my spreadsheet complete the equation for me. If it would help i can show the spreadsheet layout.

Any help would be appreciated.

I apologize, however I would need to see this on a spreadsheet, as I'm not as flulent in Excel as you seem to be.
