    "drop on enter" in 2007

    HI
First post. Just got new pc and Excel 2007. In my 2003 version I hit enter in a cell and the cursor stayed put. Now it drops down on "enter." Have searched for an hour on how to change this setting. Appreciate any help
    Thanks

Go to the Office Button and click Excel Options at the bottom...

    Go to Advanced

And uncheck the first checkbox in the Editing Options section at the top.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
