Hi,
Welcome to the forum, if your last row is say A56, then select the row 57, then press Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow, right click > Hide.
Same applies when doing it to the columns, but Ctrl+Shift+Right Arrow

Thx for the quick reply.
You can however stil scroll down into the "hiden area". I would like to stop this
right click sheet tab / view code (or alt+f11)
now in the properties window(if you cant see it hit f4)
set the scroll area
say
$A$1:$g$20

Or you can write something like this in your Workbook_Open event macro.
This way you can be sure that the scroll area will be fixed everytime the workbook is opened.
I usually create another macro to reset the scroll area for myself. If you protect your VBA code with password and make that macro Private, other users can't use it. That way if you want to modify the workbook, you will have an easy way to reset the scroll area.

To reset it, put this in another macro
