Is it possible to create a scroll box in excel?

Yes. It is called a Listbox and there are two types:

1. From the Forms tool bar
2. From the Controls tool bar

Unless you need to use VBA, you should opt for the listbox from the Forms tool bar. The listbox from the Controls tool bar is generally used with VBA code.

Display the Forms tool bar and hover your mouse pointer over each control to get a description of the control.

Scroll Box can be used in Excel and you can change the value. Just go in Format of Form Scroll Bar and then in Control tab just put 2 in current value box and cell link put A1 or just select any cell from the sheet. Now drag the scroll bar and see the value is changing in cell link .... I use scroll bar or combo box with the combination of vlookup ......
