How to subract from a grand total

    Hi there,
im looking for the formula that will enable me to subract from a grand total. So for example if I have a total in B1 and then I enter a number into b2, B3, B4 etc what would the sum be for these values to deduct from the total.

    Hope this makes sense

If cell B1 holds the value for grand total, then in an empty cell this formula:

where nnn = the last row of cells in the column to sum, i.e. B10, etc.
