    Hi,

This works fine when I copy your example. Are all your cells formatted as dates? Do they contain leading spaces?
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

"Tomorrow I'm going to be famous. All I need is a tennis racket and a hat".

    Re: date function

Go to Tools|Options and in the Transition tab, uncheck Transition Formula Evaluation.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

NBVC, What is the source of the error that unchecking the Transition Formula Evaluation resolves?
