Before going down that route have you looked at SUMIFS/COUNTIFS in XL2007 ?

If you need backwards compatibility you may also be interested in SUMPRODUCT (see link in sig.)

(once the Conditional Sum Wizard has been installed you should find it on the Formulas tab - far right of tab)

    No I didn't.
Is it necessary that I should do that.

Re: Accessing Conditiona sum wizard in Excel 2007

The conditional sum wizard uses relatively expensive Arrays to conduct multi condition calculations - in XL2007 MS introduced SUMIFS & COUNTIFS which work like SUMIF / COUNTIF but which allow for multiple conditions - these are much more efficient than Arrays so you may find you can avoid the need for the Conditional Sum Wizard altogether.

Neither SUMIFS nor COUNTIFS are backwards compatible with earlier versions - if you need backwards compatibility then another option is SUMPRODUCT which though not really more efficient than Arrays is at times a little more robust in so far as it does not require CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER entry (it is not as robust as Arrays at handling error values)

See my edit in my last post re: your initial question - I just installed it to find out where it went myself...
