    Hi,

What do you mean by 'does not work'?

You don't need to select cells to protect a worksheet. Tools Protection ,(with or without a password), will protect all cells from a change unless particular cells have been unlocked by selecting them and then from the menu Format Cells and untick the locked parameter.

Try everything, after I finish protecting the sheet, I can make changes and when I go to tools, protection and on the menu I get, unprotecte sheet, after been able to make changes on a supposed protected sheet.

    Good afternoon galarza

The protect routine does not protect all cells, only cells that are marked as locked in the cells format.

Click on a cell that you are able to change, and go to Format > Cells, Protection and make sure that the box marked "Locked" is ticked.
