Arrow Arranging cells alphabetically with numbers and spacing

    Hello,

    OS: Windows 7
    M office: Office 2010 beta

    \1

I would like to be able to change the order of the picks alphabetically ranging from A-Z instead of viewing them numerically. (See photo for example)

This is uploaded from a computer program, that's why everything is entered in column A. (See attachment for testing)

Please let me know if I havn't provided enough information,

    Thank you

    Hello LastShadow,

    welcome to the forum.

The structure of the data that you have attached does not lend itself to any kind of operation easily. There are various numbers of rows between sections, the "header" row has a different delimiter than the following rows, etc.

In order to do anything meaningful with this data, you'd first need to arrange it in a simple table, but the way that it is structured now, I fail to see any rules that could be applied to achieve that. Experience tells me that the given data sample will not portray the whole picture and that even a complex VBA solution will not work on the original data set, because not all possible variations of the original data have been provided.

As far as I'm concerned, this goes into the "too hard" basket.
