    Background Color

How do I add background color to a section of a spreadsheet without wiping out the grid lines?

    Thanks in advance,
    Harvey

    Re: Background Color

Replace the gridlines with borders.. from the Format menu.. you can change border colours to match the grey gridline colours.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Re: Background Color

I've tried your suggestion and it works to an extent - the problem is that now when I print I have borders in the shaded area. Is there a way to shade a portion of the spreadsheet and have the grid lines perform in a normal manner?
