Excel Mac 2008 auto rounding in every cell?

Hi,

My wife has a Mac with Excel 2008. Every time I open a new spreadsheet and enter a number e.g. 150,000 the cell automatically rounds the number to 15...? I've checked Formulas, Tools, Data, etc and can't seem to find anything turned on that is causing this... any assistance greatly appreciated.
