Having a button shortcut to a different sheet in the file.

I seem to be having a lot of questions as of late... but you folks have been most helpful.

What I'm attempting to do here, is to include a button on a spreadsheet that when pushed, will move the open sheet to a different sheet within the same spreadsheet.

(i.e. I have 2 tabs, "One" and "Two", and when I push the button in sheet "One", it will open the sheet "Two")

I'm working under the impression this is Macro-related...and it's been roughly 6 years since I've dealt with them, and consequently, forgotten everything it seems.

Any help or examples you could offer would be appreciated.

    Why not use Hyperlinks?
    Hope that helps.

    Here's a sample implementing RoyUK's suggestion.

It's more of an asecthics type thing.... from a functional perspective, this does work (and mucho thanks), but I'm more working under the concept that I need something that's more "eye-catching". Maybe a button per se isn't the answer, but I need something nice and big to click on. (Picky, I know...)

And actually, after trying the hyperlink idea, I may have to alter my question...

What I'm actually trying to do is have the link (be it button or hyper or whatever) sit in a sheet that is called up through a VLOOKUP on another sheet, which will then link to the 3rd sheet to go to (there's technically about 15 sheets, but we'll say 3rd for argument's sake)

When I tried the hypertext, it copies over the text of the hypertext, just not the hyper part... so sadly, that doesn't seem to work (at least the way I did it...)

Re: Having a button shortcut to a different sheet in the file.

Rereading this, I may need to explain this better, as I practically confused myself re-reading it...

I have about 12 different tabs in this particular file. Only two of them need to be accessed reguarly by the people I'm building it for, the other 10 or so are referenced through hyperlinks.

In the first tab (labeled "main"), I have a simple entry field where you type in the 6 digit customer code, and then in the field to the right, it imports information from the second tab "Codes" and displays what is there. This is done through a VLOOKUP function. Many of these are simply written under the "codes" tab as hyperlinks "Click here for a full breakdown". When the VLOOKUP brings up the information in "Main", it only imports the text, it doesn't import the link itself.

Is there a way to have that link come with the text on a VLOOKUP?

(And as much as I'd like to post a copy to better explain this, there's a lot of company info on these things that just wouldn't be a great idea to throw up on the net...) :-(

This is why I originally believed that I needed the button, so that the button would traverse over with the VLOOKUP, but I could be wrong on that as well... again, it's been about 6 years removed from my last tussles with Excel, and I'm horridly rusty. But if anyone would be so kind as to let me know if this is even possible & how to do it, I would be eternally grateful. :-)

take a look at the sample attached.
    Enter a letter [A, B, C or D] in Cell "C13".
If you enter anything else, you'll get an error message.
is this something that might work for you?
here's the macro used for this.

If you need hep implementing this, post a request. A sample excel file would realy get you help much faster. If company inof is an issue, strip out or replace company data with dummy values.
