    Custom Footer Wrapping text

    How do I get a Custom Footer to word wrap to next line.

    eg use 2 lines instead of 1

    Hi

    Excel will wrap text automatically in a footer, however if you need to have specific parts of your text on a separate line use Shift+Enter and it will give you the equivalent of a carriage return. If you want to use VBA then insert CHR(13) at the appropriate point in the text.

    This is an old thread, but since Google landed there for me and it might for others (atop my result list), I am replying to this now. I would disagree with the quote above, and say rather that Excel does not wrap footers. Also, that shift-enter does not cause the actual footer to wrap; only the dialog display. Tested only in 2003 and 2010 though.
