Sum by category
Hi, I am having some issues with a very simple budget spreadsheet of mine. I want to summarize the respective amounts to the different categories. I don't have too much of an idea on where to start, any ideas? (please see the sample that I attached).

Put this formula in I3 and copy down and to the K column, too:
=SUMIF($C:$C, H3,$E:$E )
