    Sorting deadline using dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm

    Hi All,

I am really proud to be a member of this Excel Forum. I am using computer for past 12 years from that time I am planning to learn Excel indepth. I guess this is the place where I can get cleared for all my doubts. Here I go....

I am looking for sorting dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm to based on deadline for the system time. For example deadline for a job is 21-12-2010 09:01 and for second job is 21/12/2010 18:00, for third it is 22/12/2010 09:00 and goes on. Actually my System time while sorting is 21/12/2010 08:00; it should give a colour of Red for the first deadline because very close to the system sorting time and Amber for the second because got some extra 3 hours and Green for the sufficient time deadline and green for all the other deadline which has more than 8 hours of turn around time. This should change for Red, Amber and green when the second job deadline goes near to system time in a cycle formate. I will be pleased with a macro if possible.

Please some one help me out in this.

    Thanks
    Senthil

    Hello

As per your attachment you just need to short you data and apply the conitional formatting.
1short from date and 2nd short from due date or phase date.
