Formula to display results once 2 cells are filled

    Hi

I have a spreadsheet that I record work orders in.

In cell O8 I have the formula =SUM(M8-B8)

In cell P8 I have the formula =IF(O8<=G8,"Pass","Fail")

What I am trying to do is have the following funtions pre set on every row so they update as the information in B8 and O8 is entered.

The problem I have is that when I copy the formulas down as they are now, column P reads pass from top to bottom and column O has either 0 or -40273 depending whether there is a date in Column B

I want the results to be displayed once both B8 and O8 have a date in.

You could a negative value in O if M is empty and B is not.
    We don't know what's in M (nor G) - presumably date(s)

    Perhaps simplest to use:

    That works perfectly.

    Thank you very much.
