    Unhappy Column Width Problem

The workbook I'm trying to format all sheets alike on has 24 sheets. 12 of them are summaries of the other 12 on a monthly basis i.e. January details and January summary, etc. etc. On the 12 summary sheets I had no problem getting all the formatting identical. But, on the detail sheets I'm having a problem with the column widths. For example:

January & February cell D:10 shows to be Width: 12.00 (0.66 inches)
March cell D:10 shows to be Width: 12.00 (0.67 inches)
April cell D:10 shows to be Width: 9.57 (0.58 inches) If I move it to read 12.00 I get (0.77)

Similar weirdness is on other sheets as well.

The row heights and fonts are identical throughout. It's as if some sheets have a master formatting that over rides my formatting.

Any suggestions on how to fix this will certainly be appreciated.

Have you tried copying the range of columns having the correct width and then using Paste Special - Column Width on the others?

Do you need sheets for each month? Depending on the data layout a master data sheet & a PivotTable is generally much more efficient than set ups such as you describe
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Column Width Problem

Need a sheet for each month.
This project was started on a Windows machine. I use a Mac. Could that possibly be causing the problem. Discovered this: on one sheet the column width for D shows 12.17 (0.11 inches), on another sheet it shows 12.17 (0.72 inches) and yet on another it show 12.17 (0.75 inches). This makes no sense to me. Thanks again.
