    Finding AVERAGE over dates

Not sure exactly how to ask this question, but I have a CSV file imported into XLS which contains dates and prices. I need to develop an output formula that will give me the average for price for each day. Each day may have more or less ROWS of prices so the formula would constantly be changing. Is this possible and is there a way that it can automatically go through the whole CSV and just report the averages for each day in a column
    EG.

    17-08-2010 $0.069929
    18-08-2010 $0.069179
    19-08-2010 $0.067467

This is roughly how the CSV looks link in COLUMN/ROWS

    Hi,

Assuming you used "Text to Columns" to place your CSV data (your prices and dates) in columns A and B, and your reference dates begin in D2, then:

might work for you. Expand your ranges as necessary for more rows of data.

    Cheers,
