    i need help how to get last character using excel formula
    below is my list

    a1.b_12
    a2.c_1
    abd.c_23

    to become

    12
    1
    23

    12 is not the last character, it's the last two. Do you mean after _

    If there's always going to be an underline in the text, and just one underline then the formula is (with the original value in cell A1)

    =MID(A1,FIND("_",A1")+1,255)
