I am trying to add a Target line to excel chart following Peltier forum. I am stuck at extending the target line to span the entire chart and adding just a data point marker at the end of the target line.

I am trying to extend it across the chart to show it as the Target line. "Extending" is what I am not able to do.

First change the line to a Line chart range than a xy-scatter.
The move the line to the secondary axis.
Apply secondary horizontal axis.
Format secondary horizontal axis to cross on tick marks and not show tickmarks or labels.
Delete secondary vertical axis.
@Dilipandey : sorry, it didn't help.Actually I want it to extend across the whole graph.
@ Andy: Thank you, that's what I want but there is only one issue. How to hide the secondary axis.
format the axis to have no tick markers or labels.
You can not delete it as the line will revert to using the main axis and not span the plot area.
