    I have a <CTL-C> (COPY) issue...

    Hi Folks,

This is probably simple to some. It has brought me to a crashing stop!

I have a formula in a single cell that I want to copy to a range of other cells. I have done this successfully before, but now...

When I have highlighted my single souce cell and pressed <CTL-C> and then move the cursor to the start of my target range:
Usually the source cell is still bounded by a dashed box. Tonight, it is not.
Usually, the content formula is copied. Tonight. the result of the formula is entered into the new cell. If I have chosen a range, I'll get a warning message that the boundaries are different.

I have no idea how I managed to change the operation of a <CTL-C> command.

    Can someone guide me here?

Ahhhhh yes! I'm using the excel provided with Office 2003

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hi JpaulB,
Your profile does not indicate what Version of excel you are using.
What are you doing after Ctrl & C?

    Good point!

I'm using excel 2003... provided with Office 2003.

After I do the <CTL-C>, I move the cursor to the beginning of my range. Actually, the idea is:

    <CTL-C> AL3
<CTL-V> to copy to range AL4....AL286

Thanks for reading, and then asking for the clarification.
