    Question about submitting threads

Hi, it's been a while since I have used this excel forum. I posted a question but it was posted as "solved". How do I start a new question in the forum so it will get answered? Sorry for the dumb question.

    Re: Question about submitting threads

Your posts have the word "solved" in the title which tells me you marked it as such. If you post a question, give it awhile to get answered. If nobody has responded, give the thread a bump, but you should wait a sufficient amount of time before doing so.

Also, if your thread has not been answered, maybe there is not enough information for any user to determine exactly what you require. Considering revising maybe...

Last, threads are a two-way street. If you asked a question and a user has taken the opportunity to help, you should follow up with a status, did it help or not.
