Cool Vlookup with multiple lookup values

I have to match a list of checks to accounts in general ledger and want to bring it over via vlookup. Though how do i formulate a vlookup with multiple lookup values? e.g. there's more than one check to bring back for each account. If the formula is complicated, i would appreciate specification. Thanks a lot!

Re: Vlookup with multiple lookup values

    maybe you can use lookup

    =lookup(A1&B1,C1:C10&D1:D10,E1:E10)

if does'nt work you could provide a sample of the file.

    maybe also index and match
I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "

    Regards,
