Question Find a cellvalue, add rows, get data, paste data and copy data from original row

    Hi Forum,
Thank you for taking the time to at least read my problem.

I have a spreadsheet that is 1000 room (1 room per row) per building and it has with 2 unique values per row, [roomnumber] and [squaremeter].
On my iPad i use a simplified excel sheet to fill in short codes for the rooms. The manually inserted shortcode V2, R1, V1 per room actually contain up till 7 different codes each, which i would like to insert as new rows under the shortcoded one. In the existing row the V2 shortcode should be replaced with the first actual one and in the new rows i want the roomsnumber copied and the squaremeters. After that i want it to jump to the next unique row and search the shortcode and do the trick again for that code.

I will add a exemple document with what i have and what i would like the result to be.

Please observe i am not VBA "certified" so please be as plain as possible.

Thanks for taking your time !

    Edward

If the composed data is written to a new sheet, it only needs the values, which can build it up from a scratch? Just free thinking here... /E
