    aggregating customer balances to populate total into another worksheet

    I have a list of customers with loan balances. Some customers have more than one balance. I need a formula to total the balances by customer so I can use that total in another worksheet. I've included a basic worksheet for example. Thanks!

    Use
    =SUMIF($A$2:$A$17,A2,$C$2:$C$17)

    Alternatively, use pivot tables
